Patience was born in 1741. She was the daughter of Peter Bent and Mary Temple. She passed away in 1837. [1]
Patience was born 13 February 1741 in Marlborough, Massachusetts, daughter of Peter and Mary Bent.[2] But which Peter Bent?
She married first in Marlborough, MA 29 Jan 1760 John Hervey.[3] He died in 1777 and she married second in Southborough, MA Seth Newton 6 Feb 1783.[4]
She died 23 Jan 1837, some say Southborough, Worcester Co., MA, but this death is not listed in that towns vital records (p 177). We do not find it through the various NEHGS databases on AmericanAncestors.org either.
Research Notes
Note: her parents, of Marlborough, are not to be confused with Peter Bent (Bent-153) and Mary (Parris) Bent of Sudbury.
