William Bent immigrated to New England as a child during the Puritan Great Migration (1621-1640).
William Bent was the son of John Bent and Martha Blanchard. He was born about October 1626 in Weyhill, Hampshire, England and baptized in Weyhill on 24 October 1626.[1] William did arrive with his parents from England to New England on the ship CONFIDENCE in 1638.[2]
It is surmised after 1638 William died young in Massachusetts, probably in Sudbury.[3]
