Biography
When Clarissa Benton was born on February 27, 1781, her father, Col Lemuel, was 26 and her mother, Elizabeth, was 22. She married William Little Thomas in 1803 in Marlboro, South Carolina. They had one child during their marriage. She died on September 8, 1823, in South Carolina, at the age of 42.
