Biography

Eliza Benton, daughter of John and Eliza Benton was baptised at the New Jerusalemite Church, Summer Lane, Hansworth on the 27th of December 1806. ^[1]

On the 21st of May 1822 she married Joseph Coley ^[2] son of Ephraim Coley and his wife, Ann Fisher.

Eliza had a trade, tailoress, ^[3]which probably meant that she worked to help with the family income for most of her married life.

Eliza died in 1846. ^[4]
