Biography

"Hannah, daughter of Andrew and Anne (Cole) Benton, was born in Hartford and baptized January 26, 1678/9. She married Edward Scofell of Haddam, Connecticut, February 20, 1699. He died April 21, 1703, and his widow, Hannah, married Benjamin Smith sometime before May 20, 1706."
