Gertrude Berch Bishop, 91, Wesson, died Dec. 4, 2000 at Kings Daughter's Hospital in Brookhaven.

She was a member of Heuck's Retreat Baptist Church, Brookhaven, and an Eastern Star.

Services were Dec. 6, 2000 at New Zion Baptist Church, Crystal Springs, with Dr. Ken Kirk officiating. Interment was in New Zion Cemetery with Stringer Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are sons, Milton C. Bishop of San Antonio, Texas, Wilton A. Bishop of Walla Walla, Wa., and Fred W. Bishop of Vicksburg; daughter, Verbalee B. Watts of Wesson; brothers, Thaxton Berch and Ralph Berch of Crystal Springs; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. ^[4]
