European Aristocracy
Adolf II Berg was a member of the aristocracy in Europe.

Biography

Adolf II, Count of Berg was born before 1093[1] He passed away on 12 October after 1160 near Altenberg. [2]

Because of confusion over the early members of this family he is sometimes known at Adolf III or Adolf IV, but he was definitely the second Count (Graf) of Berg.[3]

Berg-1740 and Berg-1073 appear to represent the same person because: Medieval Lands does not list two generations here, the wives (Irmgard von Sponheim and Irmgard von Kleve) are likely the same persons, too.
