Edgar (Berggren) Bergen is Notable.

Edgar Bergen was an entertainer known for his ventriloquist skills and his famous "wooden" partners, Charlie McCarthy and Mortimer Sneed.

He was awarded an Honorary Academy Award - it was custom-made of wood.

He passed away of kidney failure at his home in Paradise, Nevada on September 30, 1978, and was buried in Inglewood Park Cemetery in Inglewood, California.

Son of Johan Henriksson Berggren and Nilla Svensdotter Osberg.

Married Frances Westerman.

Father of Candice Bergen and Kris Bergen.
