John died in 1428 in Beverstone, Gloucestershire, England.
It seems that two Berkeley families have been tangled up a little in WikiTree. As far as I can tell, the confusion is between the Berkeleys of Leicester and the Berkeleys of Gloucester. Since this John Berkeley was shown as born in Wotton, Gloucestershire, I moved him from being the son of John Berkeley of Leicester to John Berkely of Gloucester. Although Richardson (author of Magna Carta Ancestry) does not show a son John born to John Berkeley of Gloucester and his wife Elizabeth Betteshorne,[1] sources do show that John (Berkeley-6) and Elizabeth (Betteshorne-1) had many sons. Based on the date (born 1375) and place (Wooten, Gloucestershire) in the profile for this John Berkeley, I think that it likely he is their son. Therefore, I changed John Berkeley's dad from John of Leicester to John of Gloucester on April 28, 2015. Berkeley-312 was already attached as the son of Elizabeth (Betteshorne-1).
