Biography
Letitia Barnard (or Bernard) on 10 November 1786 married the Rev. Henry Hervey Aston Bruce of Downhill, co. Londonderry. He became a baronet in 1804.
5 January 1794. "After breakfast i set out for Wanstead. There besides the usual family I found Mr. and Mrs. Bruce. I had never seen her before but once, and him not at all. She seems very pleasing, and very good - - and to him I have taken a very great fancy."
