Ursule Bernier was born 7 May 1699 in Cap-Saint-Ignace Chaudiere-Appalaches Region, Quebec, Canada. She was the daughter of Jean-Baptiste Bernier and Geneviève Caron. Usule was baptized on 13 May 1699 in Cap-St-Ignace (Montmagny), paroisse St-Ignace-de-Loyola, QC; Notaire Abel Michon. Godfather, Philippe Bernier godmother, Marie Bernier. She was the second of ten known siblings:
