Not clear that this is the same James Maxwell. James/Grisal apparently still in WA Co., Virginia in 1810. Could be a different James Maxwell in either Christian Co., Kentucky or Washington Co., Virginia. James Maxwell/Grisal Berry moved to Warren Co., Kentucky by 1820. More research necessary.
