Storekeeper in partnership with Wm. B. King abt 1854 in Kingston, Madison Co., Arkansas
He had returned to Roseville and operated a successful business in a partnership with his half brother, Dallas Yell Berry. The cause of the decline of business in Roseville was due to transportation. In the early years merchandise was transported by the river ferry, then with the entry of the railroad, Iron Mountain Railroad to Ozark, businesses moved to Paris, Arkansas and Dallas Yell Berry moved to Charleston, Arkansas.
In the 1880's, he moved his family to Oregon, there he died in the 1905. [1]
