Obituary -
It is with a sad heart that we write the death of our friend, Hugh Berry. His death was due to pneumonia fever and was a great shock to the whole community. On Friday morning he sent for his friends, told them good-by and asked them to meet him in heaven, he had no fear of death. he requested that his body be taken to the new church for funeral services. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Hatfield of Alabam. The remains were laid to rest in the Hindsville Cemetery Sunday afternoon at 2 oclock. Hugh Berry, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Berry, was born January 8, 1883, died December 9, 1899. Hugh was honest and honorable to a marked degree and was a true Christian, having for a number of years been a member of the South Methodist Church. This is the second child Mr. and Mrs. Berry have lost in the last two months. They certainly have the sympathy of the entire community.
