Biography
- Mildred was born in 1762 in Berry Plain, King George County, Virginia,[1][2] the youngest of three known children and the only daughter of Thomas (Sr.) and Elizabeth Washington Berry.
- On 26 December 1779, when she was seventeen, Mildred married Thornton Washington in Charles City, Charles City County, Virginia, and bore him two known children, both sons:
- John Thornton Augustine Washington
- Thomas Washington.
