MARRIAGE

ancestry.com, Dodd, Jordan. Kentucky Marriages, 1802-1850
http://www.kygenweb.org/hardin/data/index.html
Spouse 1: Berry, Elizabeth
Spouse 2: Sturgeon, John
Marriage Date: 11 Jul 1815
Marriage Location: Kentucky, Hardin County
John Sneed signed as co-surity on the Marriage Bond
Note: John was living in Barren Co Ky w/parents in 1810
Note: John's brother, James Sturgeon, also married in Hardin Co Ky the same year.
It is possible that Elizabeth went by the name of Hannah.
It is also possible that Elizabeth died before 1850, and 2nd wife is Hannah.
If Hannah is a 2nd wife, I do not think her maiden name is FLATT.

The family probably moved to Indiana before John passed away.

It does not seem likely that a widow with 4 children would relocate to a new state,
taking with her, the families of 2 married children too, all without the lead of her husband.
