Biography

Audie was the son of James Warren and Parmelia "Ada" Langston Berry.

He was born in 1891 in either Oklahoma or Texas and by 1920 had moved to NM with his father and another brother. It was in NM that he married his bride, Mildred Fern "Fern" Highley. They had at least two children together: Mildred ( m. Ray Russell) and another child who is still living at this writing.

According to a familysearch.org document, Audie was married to Allie F., daughter of H. H. Bruner and G. E. Petree. She died in 1923 and no children appear to have come of that union. At least one source says her name is "Fannie" but on the document on familysearch.org her name is "Allie".
