Biography

James Warren "JW" Berry, Jr. was born in Texas to James Warren and Parmelia Ada "Ada" Langston Berry.

By 1920, JW was living in Melrose, NM, with his father and brother Audie. He married Ruby Maye McDaniel and they had a family of at least 4 known children, one of whom is still living. His children included Gladys Beatrice Berry Hunt, Tressie Mae Berry, Oletta Berry Hancock and Elsie F. Berry, all deceased.

At the time of his draft registration, JW Jr was a farmer who farmed for himself and his family.
