Biography
Elizabeth Berry was born in about 1660, the daughter of a 'respectable tradesman', at Moreton Hampstead, Devon. She married Arthur TOZER in 1688 and they had seven children, including John TOZER, born in 1693.
She was 'on some accounts a worthy woman, but imprudently indulgent to her children and not so amiable a temper as her husband.' She died some time before her husband, as she is not mentioned in his will in October 1728.
