Timothy was the son of Timothy Bevan and his first wife Elizabeth Barclay. He was born in London on 13 Nov 1774.born in London on 13 November 1744[1][2]
He married Amelia Moseley in around 1765. The marriage was childless.
Timothy died in London on 18 April 1773 and was buried on 23 April at Bunhill Fields Quaker burial ground, London. The Quaker death and burial record describes him as a member of Gracechurch Street Quaker Monthly Meeting.[3] His Will was dated 30 September 1769 and proved on 28 April 1773. In it he left his whole estate to his wife Amelia, subject to £4000 being set aside for any children, if there were any at his death or if his wife was pregnant at his death. He appointed his father and his wife as executors.[4]
