The death date of before 22 Jan 1816 has been given to both Tobias (Bickel-50) and his younger brother John Tobias (Bickel-43), causing confusion as to who died in that year.
The date comes from the will of Tobias Pickle of Miles Twp, Centre County, PA, and applies only to Tobias (Bickel-50) who married Anna Catharine Aumiller, and baptized M. Christina on 10 Feb 1775 in Penn Twp, Northumberland County, PA. This child baptized in 1775 could not belong to John Tobias (Bickel-43). He was born in 1766 and had no spouse or children, thus must have died early. I have removed the erroneous death date for him.
The will probated in Miles Twp, Centre County belongs to Tobias, Jr. (Bickel-50), as it mentions wife Ann Catherine. End of confusion.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Tobias by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Tobias:
Bickel-493 and Bickel-50 appear to represent the same person because: Same wife and child. Birth dates are only estimates. Death date is before probate of the will. I will also propose merge of the wives Aumiller-96 into Aumiller-76.
Bickel-275 and Bickel-50 appear to represent the same person because: same father and birth, no sources to support any of the information on Bickel-275
