Biography

Joseph was a Friend (Quaker)

Joseph was born in Surrey on 5 August 1762, with his parents named as Joseph and Mary in the records of Kingston Monthly Meeting of the Society of Friends.^[1][2]

Joseph married Agatha Lloyd on 21 October 1803 at Berkswell Quaker Meeting House, Warwickshire. He was described in the Quaker marriage record as of Birmingham, soap boiler, son of Joseph of Esher, Surrey and his deceased wife Mary.^[3][4]

Joseph died at Birmingham, Warwickshire on 6 February 1837 and was buried on 12 February at the Quaker burial ground, Bull Street (formerly Bull Lane), Birmingham.^[5][6][7]
