Biography
The daughter of Israel Biddle and Martha (Lowery) Biddle, Mary Biddle was born in Derry Township in 1802.[citation needed] She married Robert Richart, marrying in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania[citation needed] and having five children together:
- Israel Biddle Richart (1823-1904)
- Martha Elizabeth (Richart) Harriott (1825-1910)
- Amanda Malvina Richart (1827-1900)
- Mary Ann Richart (1829-1898)
- William Richart (1832-1906)
They made their home for a time in Turbot Township, Pennsylvania, in Northumberland County,[1] later migrating west to Michigan, settling in Macon Township, in Lenawee County.[2][3][4] She passed away in Macon Township at the age of 75[5] and is buried at Macon Cemetery there.[6]
