Susan Christine Elizabeth/Elisabetha (Beiber) Klein was born April 2, 1720, in Hirschland or Postorff, Alsace, France. She died about 1792 in Lincoln County, North Carolina, and is buried in Old St Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery, present-day Newton, Catawba County, North Carolina.[1]
Susan married Johann Sebastian Cline, son of Moritz Klein and Anna Catharina Marztloff, about 1738 in Alsace or 1740 in Pennsylvania (sources vary).[2]
Sebastian and Susan (Bieber) Cline had the following children[3]
** There has been an Error on the Suggestions / Errors page regarding her place of burial. I claimed it to be false because the land deed for St. Paul's Church and Cemetery was purchased about 1781 and my family diaries have remarks of an old log, cabin style structure there before the deed where Lutherans and Non-Reformed gathered together for worship under the same name. Here is a more comprehensive history : [1]
