William was born in 1850, the son of George Biggs and Frances Summerell.[1]
He married Isabella Sharp in 1872.[2]
In 1885 records show that William had a contract to carry mail by horse back between Wakefield and Stanley Brook. Later he used a coach with two horses.
He passed away in 1916[3] and was buried in Spring Grove Cemetery, Tasman District, New Zealand.[4]
