Richard Biggs IV was a Jamestown colonist.

Richard Biggs, son of Richard Biggs and Sarah UNKNOWN, was born about 1622 in Charles City County, Virginia.[1]

On the Lists of the Livinge and Dead in Virginia, Febr: 16th 1623/4:[1]

  • Richard Biggs at West and Sherlow hundred
  • Mrs. Biggs
  • William Biggs (fil)
  • Thomas Biggs (fil)
  • Richard Biggs (fil)

The Muster of the Inhabitant's of West and Sherley Hundred Charles Cittie taken the 22th of January 1624/5:[1]

  • Richard Bigg's his Muster
    • Richard Bigg's aged 41 yeres arived in the Swann in August 1610
    • Sarah his wife aged 35 yeres in the Marygold May 1618
    • Richard theire Sonn aged 3 yeres
    • Thomas Turner his Cozen aged 11 yeres in ye Marygold 1616
    • Susan Old his Cozen aged 10 yeres in the Marygold 1616

When his father Richard Biggs III died about March 1626, his mother Sara Biggs and Richard were listed as heirs in his father's will. No mention is made of Thomas and William Biggs who appeared as sons of Richard and Sarah on the List of the Living in 1623/4. Sarah Biggs is appointed guardian of Richard until he reaches the age of 21. [2]
