Caroline Bachman
On Tuesday, June 8, at 11:20 p.m. Caroline Bachman, formerly of Braddock, Pa., passed away in her 87th year. She is survived by her children, Mrs. Joseph Lieberman of Philadelphia, Mrs. Noah Sunstein of McKeesport, Jesse J. Bachman of Pittsburgh, her sisters Mrs. Lena Bachman, Mrs. Sam May of Chicago, Mrs. Solly Billig, and a brother Dr. Adolph Billig of Detroit, and four grandchildren.
Mrs. Bachman was born in Mannheim, Germany, and has been a resident of Braddock for the past 55 years. She was a member of various charitable organizations.
Funeral services were held from the Ralph Schugar Chapel, 5509 Center Avenue, on Friday, June 11, at 10.30 a.m., with interment in West View cemetery.[8]
