Hi cousin, e.g. 14th cousin 4 times removed. I am working on some of the change her last name at birth, unless you early Moores in NC. I found the Marriage certificate for Robert Moore and his wife Elizabeth, who turns out to be Elizabeth McGhee. Since you are the profile manager for Elizabeth, you would be the one to have other evidence. Elizabeth Moore should be Elizabeth McGhee. If you are interested in following some of the early North Carolina Moore family, join us in the Space:North Carolina, Moore Name Study.

Thanks, G. Moore

Hi Scott, I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! Participation in a project is strongly encouraged for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles. Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors?

Let me know, and I can help you figure out if there's a project that might interest you. Welcome aboard, we are glad to have you!

Hi!

Thank you for joining WikiTree. As a WikiTree Mentor I am available to answer any questions or help solve any issues you may be having.

I hope you're enjoying our site. Our primary vision is to build a collaborative tree with just one profile per person, so please make sure to look for duplicates on WikiTree before adding a profile. Having dates and locations attached to every person assists in our mission as well!

Feel free to check out How To Use WikiTree. It's a great step-by-step guide to get you started.

We also have our Help Index with links to topics you may have questions on. Don't forget our G2G Forum where many of our generous members help each other out.

And of course I'm here to help, just ask!
