Mrs. James M. Gregg died at her home on West Washington StreetSundayevening shortly after 8 o'clock. Prudence Elizabeth BillingsleyGregg wasborn Feb. 13, 1850 in Glasgow, Iowa, and resided in thatvicinity untilabout nine years ago. On Apr. 6, 1869, she was married toJames M. Gregg.Five children; one, William, dying in infancy. Her husbandand fourdaughters, Mrs. I. H. Tomlinson of Des Moines, Mrs. C. S. BishopofGlasgow, Mrs. E. C. Boxk and Mrs. W. C. Smith of this city surviveher.About nine years ago Mr. and Mrs. Gregg moved to Fairfield wheretheyhave since resided. Methodist church. Funeral held Wednesday at 9o'clockat the residence at the corner of E. Washington and B Streets,Rev. C. L.Tennant. . . . and the remains were taken to Glasgow forburial. Thefuneral was largely attended by the members of the Women'sRelief Corpsand the G.A.R., many of whom accompanied the family toGlasgow.
