Sarah Ann Billingsley, daughter of William and Sarah (Bowman) Billingsley, was born in Virginia in 1652. She married John Billingsley in 1669. They had two known children (William and Mary). Sarah Ann died in 1712.

Said to have married a cousin, Davis shows her husband's parents as Francis and Ann (Hale) Billingsley. As of 30 Jan. 2019, WikiTree connections show no connection between Francis Billingsley-74 & Sarah Ann Billingsley-45 and shows her and John Billingsley-58 as third cousin, twice removed.

Hi Profile Managers & others. I've added Linda as a manager of this profile, as she has fresh insight on the Virginia Billingsleys. To facilitate her work, I have detached John Billingsley-58, grandson of Henry Billingsley and Agatha Houtsman, as Sarah Ann's husband. Existing evidence does not support that the children of Henry & Agatha's son John left descendants. (I thought John's son John was the best candidate for her husband, being of the right age/in the right place and a more distant cousin than the other candidate, Francis's son John - Francis being the brother of her father William.)
