Anna Maria Binckele was a daughter of a Moravian emigrant (1750-1775).
Anna was born in France, before the Binckeles emigrated to America. Her birth date (or perhaps the date of her baptism) is in the records of York Moravian Church in Pennsylvania, and is also cited in Genealogies of Pennsylvania Families from the Pennsylvania Magazine of History and Biography. Pennsylvania Vital Records from The Pennsylvania Genealogical Magazine gives the date as 26 Jan rather than 26 Jun, but this appears to be an incorrect transcription of the church records.
Nothing is known of her as an adult, and it is presumed that she died young.
Some family materials give her name as Anna Maria. The index to York Moravian records on Ancestry says only Anna.[1]
Research Notes
Her birthplace is given as Steintal, Alsace, France; however, I believe this is the German version of Le Ban de la Roche, which is what the name would have been at the time of her birth. -- Fiscus-32 00:00, 5 May 2016 (EDT)
Anna Binkley, b. February 21, 1731, Switzerland. [2] She was more like born in the county of Steintal, state of Alsace, France where her father was living in 1731. Note: her father used the place name Steinthal (Steintal) in his memoir. [3]Hennings-109 07:07, 27 May 2016 (EDT)
Anna Binckele born 1731 to Peter Binckele and Anna Maria. [4]

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Anna Maria by comparing test results with other carriers of her ancestors' mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Anna Maria:
Binggeli-23 and Binckele-17 appear to represent the same person because: Same birthdate, same parents and family; she was born in Alsace, not Switzerland
No, Anna is a different child. Her birth/baptism is recorded in church records in France, and also at York Moravian in Pennsylvania. We don't have a death date for her, but she does not appear in any records as an adult, so presumably she died young.
Binkley-263 and Binkley-137 appear to represent the same person because: Though there is a mismatch in the birth year, it appears these are the same profile given the similarities in all the other family members.
