• June 10, 2016, note by Elizabeth (Holder) Harris: I believe this is Junius Wesley Binkley, b. 29 Jun 1863 d. 30 Aug 1925, bur. Woodland Cemetery, Winston-Salem NC; m. 1) Sarah Frances Pilcher 1859-1896, 2) Lilly Weir who d. 1930.
• His wife is listed as S. F. Pilcher, daughter of Alvis and Millie, in the wedding record. ^[1] The only daughter of Alvis and Mille with a name starting with S is Sarah, born 1859. ^{[2] [3]}

Biography

In 1870, he was seven years old, living with his parents, Peter and Henrietta, along with his seven siblings. ^[4] On February 23, 1890, he married Sarah F. Pilcher (age 29), daughter of Alvis and Millie Pilcher, in East Bend, Yadkin County, NC ^[1] In 1900, Wesley is a widower living with his parents, along with Bessie B. (age 5) and Evert O. (4). ^[5]

He died August 30, 1925, and was buried at Woodlawn Cemetery in Winston-Salem, Forsyth County, NC.^{[6] [7]}
