Can't find them in 1880 census unless he is the Eber REESE 38 living in Strasburg Tp of Lancaster Co with wife Mary 32 with 5 children and 3 farm laborers/servants. (There is a Simon REESE, a painter in Providence Tp, age 39, but his wife is named Catharine, age 35.).
Biography of Henry F. Binkley said "Simon" & Mary REESE lived in Lancaster [Boro] in 1903.
Her brother David F. Binkley's Dec 1913 obit in the Intelligencer shows her as a living sister, "Mrs. Mary REESE, of Lancaster.".
