Lucinda Bird was born on February 10, 1852 in Kentucky, United States, daughter of Macklin Bird and Sarah Ann (Skaggs) Bird.^[1]

Lucinda married Cyrus Lewis Edwards (born on June 5, 1837 in Alton, Madison, Illinois, United States; son of Benjamin Franklin Edwards and Eliza (Green) Edwards). Their son was Cyrus Lewis Edwards (1879–1968).

Lucinda died on August 6, 1944 in Granbury, Texas, United States, aged 92.^[1]
