Biography

Jaily Bybee, daughter of William Birdsong and Winifred Allee was born in the month of April in 1823, in Missouri.

In 1850, Jaily and her husband were living in District 58, Moniteau, Missouri, with six of their children, as well as David Allee.[1]

Conflicting Information

  • While Jaily is alive on the 1850 census of Moniteau County[1], she was dead before 1855 when Levi remarried[2]. Where is the source for the 1870 death date?
  • Differing sources have April 7 and April 21[3] as the birth date; what are the original source documents for these concepts?

Birdsong-85 and Birdsong-50 appear to represent the same person because: Continuing the merges from our families where my names were too different to be caught in the auto-tool. Jaily Birdsong, daughter of William Birdsong and Winifred Allee, born 21 April 1823, married Levi Horner Bybee, had John William, Louisa Jane, Margaret Jailey, Mary Ann, Wineford, and Bluford, according to my family records. Sibling Nicholas Birdsong.
