Nancy is buried in the Phillips Cemetery, also known as the Elkhorn Cemetery, is located on Upper Johns Creek (across a creek that must be crossed on foot). Three cemeteries are located on the same mountain; the other two are the May Cemetery and the Layne Cemetery.(these are newer cemeteries). This cemetery contains many descendants of Zachariah and Elizabeth (Charles) Phillips. The Phillips cemetery is on up a steep narrow path past the Layne cemetery. The May cemetery can be seen from the road.
