He had three siblings, namely: Tilmon Melvin, Lola Belle, and Grover Walker.
He died before the 1910 census in Mississippi, USA.
Nelson Bishop was buried in Simpson County, Mississippi, USA (unknown where).
Family has a cross stitch of the Bishop family tree with his year of birth as 1898. This would be before his parents married and the mother would have only been 14. The 1900 census has parents married one year with no children. Aunt Tennie Bishop (Uncle George's wife) said that my grandfather T Melvin was the first born (1902). Therefore and according to family history, I do not think the 1898 birth date is correct.
