According to this profile, Joshua only had two children with his wife Wealthy Adams. Is there any proof that all the children born in Georgia are his too? This connection also appears in trees in Ancestry and in FamilySearch.

I have no documentation to support more than the two children named Reuben and Barzilliai. Additionally both Joshua and Wealthy seemed to be well established in Connecticut so I do not believe there were additional children that lived in Georgia, Alabama, or Mississippi. Wonder if the merge process on Wealthy's profile last December pulled in some unrelated records?

Probably not, since the Bishops born in Georgia do not have a mother attached. My suspicion is that two men named Joshua Bishop either were merged together, or assumed to be the same. Something similar happened to a relative of mine, who was a Congregationalist minister in New England and was attached as father to several children from a Quaker family in Virginia. They all had the same surname, but the families were not the same of course.

Bishop-7833 and Bishop-5250 appear to represent the same person because: they are the same person
