Biography
Peyton was born about 1807-1808 in Virginia. He married Miranda Jane Wilson on 25 Aug 1838 in Belmont, Ohio.[1] and had a large family, including:[2][3]

- Lydia E. Bishop - 1842–1854
- Joseph Hanson Bishop - 1843–1924
- Malinda J. Bishop - 1846–1854
- John R. Bishop - 1847–1871
- Thomas A. Bishop - 1848–1883
- Lindley Murray Bishop - 1851–1925
- Eliza Jane Bishop - 1856–1940
By 1880, Peyton's first wife had died. He had a wife named Anna J. (Name) Bishop and they were living with his son, Linley and Linley's family in Ohio, Bureau, Illinois.[4] He died in 1895 in Illinois.[5]
