Henry was born in Thomasville, Thomas County, Georgia in 1908 to Elmer Ellsworth Bishop and Matilda Carolyn Quicksall. [1] He married Ruby Lawson on 17 Jun 1927 in Oconee County, Georgia.[2] After he passed away in Quincy, Gadsden County, Florida, he was buried in the Garden of the Last Supper, Tallahassee Memory Gardens, Tallahassee, Florida. He shares a grave marker with his wife.[3]
