Sarah married Henry Thomas Manning in 1865 in New Zealand.^[2] They had four children.

Sarah passed away on the 8 February 1938 in Auckland City Auckland, New Zealand, age 92. ^[3] She was buried at the Purewa Cemetery and Crematorium, Meadowbank, Auckland, New Zealand.^[4]
