The petition of Warwick Miller in behalf of Ruth Bishop daughter of Charles Bishop late of West Nantmeal deceased who is a minor under the age of 14 years
humbly Sheweth
That the said Charles Bishop sometime agse died Intestate leaving a Considerable Estate, some part of which according to the Laws of this Province of right appertains to the said Ruth Bishop,
Your Petitioner therefore prays that your Honours will be pleased to appoint a proper person or persons to be Guardians for the said Minor in the Room and stead of your Petitioner's Father Robert Miller lately her Guardian now deceased.

That your Honours were pleased at Last Court to appoint George Carter to be Guardian for the sd. Minor, That the said George Carter declines to accept of the said Guardianship, That the said Minor's interest must Greatly Suffer if some Care be not Taken thereof your Petitioner or thereof prays that your Honours will be pleased to appoint another Guardianship for the sd. Ruth in the room of the said George Carter &

To his Majesties Justice, of ye Orphans Court held at Chester for ye County of Chester ye 15 day of June 1762 Whereas I Joseph Pierce Being Appointed Guardian for Ruth Bishop, at an Orphans Court held at Chester, Decmr. 1761 She Yet Being a minor & Under ye age of fourteen years And at ye Particular Request of Patience Davis, mother of ye Said Ruth Bishop, I Desire ye Court may Appoint John Townsend, (he Being Agreed thereto as may Appear By Subscribing his Name) With me, as Witness our hands, June 14, 1762
