In Branford, October 15, 2010, Gordon Prince Bishop (Gor) of Branford. Husband of Roberta Naumann of Branford. Father of Dick Bishop (wife Chris) of Sunset, S.C. Step-father of Nancy Boyles (husband Ron) and Dana Naumann (wife Terrell), all of Branford. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife Marjorie Floyd Bishop, his son James W. Bishop, and his two brothers, Melvin Thomas Bishop and Wilson Prince Bishop. Mr. Bishop was born in New Haven on March 20, 1916, a son of Carlton and Ruth Wilson Bishop. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He was an Electronics Engineer for RCA Services for 25 years. He also worked for Travelers Insurance in Hartford. In his retirement he repaired and serviced antique clocks. He resided in Branford for 25 years, having previously resided in East Haddam. He was a member of the First Congregational Church of Branford. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 11:30 at the First Congregational Church of Branford. Burial will be private. There will be no calling hours.
