DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Benjamin by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Benjamin:
Bissell-836 and Bissell-143 appear to represent the same person because: Same parents. I accidentally created this Benjamin Bissell from family records (Grandmother Seelye) only knowing that a Phoebe Bissell b @1730 had a father named Benjamin Bissell, then linked them to the John Bissell/Sarah White parents.
I don't understand your comment "differing birth years by 58", as the birth years appear to be approximately the same. I'm no doubt missing something, could you please clarify? Thanks
