Luther was born 21 Aug 1850, in Illinois. He was the son of Unknown Bissell and Lydia (Unknown Bissell. He married Elizabeth (Benny) Bissell 21 Aug 1871, in Madison Co., Illinois. He died 25 Jun 1914 in Kay Co., Oklahoma, and is buried in the Blackwell Cemetery, Blackwell, Kay Co., Oklahoma.
