Biography

Catherine was born about 1765 in Frederick County, VA. She married Johannes Schneider (John Snyder, Snider) on 23 Dec 1788 in Shenandoah County, VA. They immigrated to Harrison County, IN sometime prior to 6 June 1809 and settled in Scott Township near her brother John Pittman's farm. Catherine and John had 6 children: Jacob, Elizabeth, unidentified son, Isaac, Catharina, and another unidentified son.
