Eliza Black wed A. F. Stephenson November 5, 1857 in Carroll County, Georgia.^[2]

Louisa Stephenson was enumerated at Post Office Bowdon, Bowdon District, Carroll County, Georgia for the July 30, United States Census, 1860. She was noted as born 1824 in Georgia. She was a farmer as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are male A F Stephenson, male John W Stephenson, male Franklin Stephenson and female Eliza T Black.^[3]
