Biography
Catherine was born in 1912.[1] She was the daughter of Albert Blackburn and Catherine McIver.
She was baptised on 1May 1912 at Holy Cross, Liverpool, Lancashire, England[2].
Her father left the family in about 1923 to settle in New Zealand.
In the 1939 England and Wales Register she was living with her mother and older sister Mary Bridget at 57 Great Crosshall Street, Liverpool, Lancashire, England.
Occupation: Sewing Machinist
She married James Thomas Kenny (1903-1968) in 1940 at Liverpool North, Lancashire, England[3].
They may have had 3 children.
Her husband passed away in 1968.
Catherine lived at 5A Orphan Drive, Liverpool.
She passed away in 1980 at the age of about 68. and is buried with her mother and husband. Her will was proved on 30 December 1980 at Liverpool.
