Biography

Polly (Blackburn) Hensley was born in Appalachia, in Kentucky. See Appalachia Project.

Polly was born after 1840. She was the daughter of John Blackburn and Lydia Blankenship. She married John Compton Hensley in 1874. She passed away in 1956.
