Amelia's parents were Mary and Samuel Blackman. Amelia was born at Cobbitty on 11 October 1840. She married John Free in 24 October 1861 at Mudgee. Amelia and John had 6 children. John died 1897. Amelia died at her daughter's home on 25 October 1921.
